visits the local hospital care, centers and homes of congregation

Meal
Delivery
Volunteers at Peace Church offer meals for
members that are under the weather, grieving, or in other need of
assistance. If you or someone you know could be helped with a
meal, please contact the church office.

Clayton
County Food Shelf and Shepherd of the Hills
Peace Church serves as a drop off site for
non-perishable foods for needy families in Clayton County. Items may be
dropped off on Sunday mornings or during office hours. |

Stephen Ministry
Several Peace Church
members have been trained as Stephen Ministers.

| Stephen
Ministers go through 50 hours of training, regular continuing
education, and twice-monthly small group peer supervision. They are
trained caregivers. They have skills in active listening, dealing with
feelings, Christian caregiving, setting boundaries, relating
assertively, process-oriented caring, crisis intervention, and
ministering in a wide range of situations. |
